The Guild is operated by LMBHC LLC in Austin, Texas. Everything reaches the same small team, so a line about which of the categories below applies to you will get it to the right person faster.
General and membership
Questions about joining, an existing membership, a benefit you are trying to use, or a credit balance that looks wrong. If your question is about a membership that already exists, include the email address it is held under.
Artist booking
To be considered for Guild Live, the Showcase or After Dark. Useful to include, in one message:
- Who you are, where you are based, and your genre in plain words
- Lineup size, and whether that number is fixed
- Two or three links — recorded music, and live footage if you have any
- An honest typical draw in Austin, and the last three rooms you played
- Your fee range, and any dates you already know are impossible
An honest draw of forty is far more useful than an optimistic three hundred, and it will not count against you. Read the artist page first — it sets out what the Guild provides and what it asks for in return.
Press
Interview requests, photo passes, listings and access to a show. Guild shows are filmed, so photographers and camera crews need to be arranged in advance rather than turning up. Say which show and which outlet.
Venues
Rooms interested in hosting Guild Live. Include capacity, address, what production the room has in house, your curfew, and which nights of the week are usually open. The venue page covers how the deals are structured.
Business partners and sponsorship
Partner listings run from $50 to $500 a month depending on placement, and show sponsorship starts at $500. The business page has the packages. Tell us what you sell and who you are trying to reach, and the recommendation back will be honest about whether this audience is the right one.
